I've Decided....

Okay so after some loooonggg discussions with my family and with myself, I have decided not to get sisterlocks...here are my reasons:

1. Cost- it is very expensive to the installment. I have A LOT of hair and I know that it would cost me at least a grand to get them. Not only is the installment a pretty penny, but the upkeep would be too! at least for the first year...until I decided to do them myself...

2. Maintenance-while I think that they are BEAUTIFUL, I know that I wouldn't upkeep them on my own like I should...I sometimes get lazy and I wouldn't want my hair to suffer because of it.

3. Boredom- this is why many of my friends and family say that it wouldn't work for me! I get bored with my hair easily, and like to change it every so often...and let's just say that I would be very upset to spend all of my time and money on a hairstyle that I would be bored with. Also I have seen other people's blogs...after about 5-8 yrs...they cut them off or make them into traditional locks...

4. I love my curls- yes I have been at a crossroads with my hair...because over the past 3 years...It has grown so fast I don't know how to deal with it...BUT I absolutely love my curls...they have their own personality...and I love wearing my hair out.

I love sisterlocks...and think that they are beautiful!!!!!!!! But they aren't made for everybody...and right now I know that they aren't made for me!
